Brian Gromoff, current ACTRA Calgary President and a
Past President of ACTRA National, has been ACTRA's liaison to the WIDC
Workshop since its inception. He is a respected actor based in
Calgary, Alberta with numerous film and theatre roles to his credit.
In 2002, Gromoff was nominated to the Order of the University of Calgary
for his outstanding contribution to the university and the community at
large. Gromoff successfully headed U of C's Standardized
Medical Patient Testing Program for over a decade. Gromoff
provides guidance on overall programming, budgeting, participant and
faculty adjudications. "Brian's tireless
work has made ACTRA a far better organization," says former National
President Thor Bishopric. "Brian's vision and leadership have resulted
in vastly improved communications, public policy, union finances,
collective bargaining and member solidarity."
